My poetry, short stories, essays, drawings and reviews have appeared in PN Review, The Globe and Mail, Winnipeg Free Press, The Malahat Review, The Fiddlehead, The Antigonish Review, Arc, Prairie Fire, Pottersfield Portfolio, Grain and VAINE Magazine, and my first book of poetry, Catchment Area, was published in 2010 by Signature Editions. 

 

I have worked in-house and freelance as a proofreader, editorial assistant, copy editor and writer for President's Choice Magazine, National Post, Fitzhenry & Whiteside, Today's Parent Online, Wine Access, SBC Media and House & Home, and with small businesses, artists and writers to edit and proofread website content, newsletters, blogs, bios, artist statements, poetry, fiction and nonfiction. I have also worked with companies such as Panasonic to research and write case studies.

My drawings speak to my writing speaks to my drawings, one is integral to the development and sustainability of the other. They continue to chatter and carry on in the most fantastical manner, visualizing the verbal and verbalizing the visual.

Support from the Ontario Arts Council, the Canada Council for the Arts and the Toronto Arts Council has helped me to continue to write and draw, at times overlapping and entwining the two.
